Timeless

Every time I go up to the reservoir I pass this scene, the root of an upturned giant tree brought down by a storm and a tree damaged by lightening. Today I finally got around to taking a photo of it.
 
Woke this morning to see heavy fall of snow on The Trossachs ( By this evening though it had almost melted ( see extra).
 
So glad I have not put out my sweet peas and begonias because we are still getting frosts.
