Happy Birthday!

Today was Mum's 84th Birthday, one that a couple of weeks ago nobody expected she would see. We're not quite sure what she's made of but it's pretty resilient stuff!

I promised a cake and got permission from the hospital to take some flowers. She asked for perfume so that's what I got.

We had a lovely birthday tea; cake with candles, and all of the staff sang "Happy Birthday" .
