SWEET PEA

This sweet pea is a volunteer from last year, or so I thought.
Last year I grew a red striped & a TINY blue sweet pea heirloom varieties.
I hoped they would self seed, & I tried to grow seedlings from the pods that
appeared.  

Surprise, surprise.  This sweet pea looks nothing like the varieties I have grown.  It is healthy, strong & already attached  to my tallest 
trellis.   And these flowers make my heart sing.

I always say:  "Gardening is like baseball.  Every 4th time at bat,
you get a hit.  Sometimes that hit is a home run.'   This TINY
mystery SWEET PEA is definitely a hit.
