Went out into the surrounding Hertfordshire countryside yesterday with friend C. We had been going to go into town to see a Silk Road exhibition but at the last moment plumped for countryside instead. It was a terrfically windy day and squally; we were rained upon, and sleeted upon until we got down onto a disused rail line with banks above us giving shelter. We saw droves and droves of beautiful bluebells but l choose to share another field of rape, l like the way the shadows of the clouds are falling on the field.
Today l am going to a new woods, for me, with my U3A photography group. I have zoomed with this group for about 6 months but never met any of them personally so a little frisson of excitment and anxiousness.
