Tarr Steps, Somerset

Tarr Steps is a 17 span clapper bridge (Tarr Steps is an example of a 'clapper' bridge (the term being derived from the Latin 'claperius', meaning 'pile of stones') and is constructed entirely from large stone slabs and boulders.), the longest of its kind in Britain
Today we went to Dulverton and had an ace coffee in the garden of The Copper Kettle Cafe.
We then drove to Tarr Steps and had a walk-in the ancient woodland which covers both sides of the valley.
We then ate our sarnies high up on Exmoor before driving to Luxborough to visit our favourite pub in these parts, namely The Royal Oak and had a pint in their beer garden. It was my first visit to a pub since last October!
A great day with great company :-)
