Wide Wednesday: Close - To The Lighthouse

We went to Burnham this morning for a walk along the beach to the Old Lighthouse, which as you can see was a long way from the water at the time. The coast in the distance is the Somerset / North Devon coast with Exmoor beyond. You can just about make out the cranes and towers of Hinckley Point where the new nuclear power reactor is being built.

Despite the blue skies there was a very strong and chilly wind but it didn’t stop us sitting outside a cafe with a full English breakfast for lunch!
