Rabbie's back in town

Remember we met Rabbie last year? And then he brought Jean to see us? And than they came again and again to feed the eight offspring?

Well here we go again. He's been around a while now. Jean's with him from time to time, and inspecting possible nest sites. And this morning, braver then ever, Rabbie was eating the *spaffinches' bird seed from on top of the wall, smack outside the kitchen window. Till I opened the blind, that is. At which point there were sounds of panic and much flying off.

I hope he does it again tomorrow. I will certainly be cautious with the blind.

*Spaffinches is our collective name for our mixed flock of sparrows, chaffinches and dunnocks.
