Whose Lens

Walking around downtown Rogers, Arkansas, USA with a friend who wanted to show me the “old” Rogers, storefronts and brick pavement. She shared her roots and attachments to the businesses...grandmother was a soda jerk, dad a janitor, mom a seamstress...tied to each building. How special.

This camera was one of many on display—vintage—in a photo studio. Inside just the tripod and light umbrella. It summed up the photography which preceded my “snap.”
