Vaccination day

Walking up to the Hydro for my first vaccination really brought the last year into perspective.

Dozens of kind, friendly folk guided us through a short queue into the massive venue. I said thanks to each and eventually reach Danny, from Edinburgh, who gave me my jag. We had a nice chat.

Quietly most folk in the queue shared that the last time they had been there it had been for a concert or event, the place full with 15,000 other people.

It seems unimaginable now, but the vaccination process is part of how we all get back there.
