Prothonotary Warbler

The birders (and photographers) in this area are heavily into spotting warblers at this time of year.  I was so fortunate to find this yellower than yellow Prothonotary Warbler right after I arrived at this marshy location.  He caught my eye first as he was bathing in the the black marsh waters.  He flew into a tree to preen, fluff and puff.  I've placed a couple of the other photos in extras, along with a Yellow-billed Cuckoo at the same location.   It's a good thing I captured these handsome birds when I arrived, because the rest of my visit was pretty quiet.
Thanks for stopping by!
