Roots!

The seeds for Aloe polyphylla or Spiral Aloe were "planted" on April 18th by putting them in water. They initially float and then sink as they absorb water. This occurred over about a week before all seeds sank. I change the water every few days and the jar sits in the heated propagator. Today I spotted that one seed has rooted. Yay!
Tomorrow I need to plant this in soil. Need a trip to the nursery for some cactus compost.

In other news voted today, and in Wales a historic day as 16 and 17 year olds are also able to vote and have a say in their future. Extra blip is our local polling station.
