Polling day

Up at 5.30 for my day as Polk clerk. Ouch!
It was rather quiet as we only had votes for the police commissioner but the day passed amicably enough.
I had a wonderful text message during the day from Katie saying she has been offered a Museum Assistant job at Newton Abbot in Devon! Absolutely delighted!!
And when I got home there was a great package of baby plants from Lynne to see to in the morning.
