Shadows of Violets

Cast on the curb of our street at mid-afternoon--a sunny, seasonable spring day. This evening we watched a gripping short Netflix film, Two Distant Strangers,  whose co-director and writer are graduates of Somerville College, Oxford, which Marylee attended in the late 1960s.  It won the Oscar this year for Best Short Film Live Action.
