Sunshine and Showers

Another cold day with sunshine and showers. I started putting up some shading in the greenhouse, but was struggling as not feeling great, so only put 1 of the 2 pieces up. I took my laptop in for a new fan - whilst only 5.5 years old they can’t source a part in the uk and have ordered it from China, but it will take a while. I’ll probably still get a new laptop for photography, then I’ve always got a spare more basic one. I hope the Right to Repair Law comes in in the Summer and includes laptops, phones and tablets - so much waste at the moment.

Day 417 /  Day 26 of Step 2 of Roadmap Easing (for my record only

There are expected to be delays at airports. Greece was not on the Green list as some expected. R no. has slightly fallen to 0.8 -1.0 in Eng with a daily growth rate of -3% to 0%. The EMA are looking into whether there’s a link between the AZ jab and a rare nerve disorder (Guillaine-Barre Syndrome). It’s also looking into reports of heart inflammation following Pfizer and Moderna jabs. The JCVI has recommended an alternative to the AZ jab for all under 40s now (was under 30s). 1 of the 3 variants first id in India has now been declared a ‘variant of concern’ (B1617.2) which is at least as transmissible as the Kent variant.
