Seahouses

A journey home would not be complete without a stop in Seahouses. I have never seen the town so quiet.

A relaxing and enjoyable break away from the walls of home. Whilst the photos of the past few days look like we had the best weather, be aware that standing in one spot for 5 minutes gave all 4 seasons and despite blue skies it was utterly baltic.

A holiday of pies and outside beers. Of visiting the grandparents and laughing. All good stuff.

Today is the boy's 24th Birthday. The parcels arrived, telephone calls were had whilst he was on a cable car, and birthday wishes sung. There were no hugs, no cakes made and no bouncy balls. However I do know his Korean friends are making him feel special, and that cheers my heart. Happy Birthday my precious boy x.
