Three Cheers for the Adega!

Took loads of photos on my morning walk, but my Blip today has to be the momentous re-opening of the Adega Velha, our "local", where we used to go every Saturday. It's been closed since the first lockdown, so well over a year. Now opened with a swanky new awning, barrels in the street, and a handy shelf on the wall to put your glasses on. Feijão, who used to be in my catechism class, is the new manager, a lot more cheerful than the last guy. We went as soon as it opened and left before loads came, but oh! was it lovely to have a tintinho there again!

Here for a fun version of the Cante Alentejano that often happens on the inside, presumably not these days, though.

Gratefuls:
- the Adega opening; Mourão feeling a bit more normal again
- Tom being offered the job he applied for, well done, Tom!
- Portugal being on England's "green list"
