Kotare

A kotare (kingfisher) landed on the umbrella pole outside our window this morning.  I just had to try and get a photo.  It's not as sharp as I would have liked but I am pretty happy with it.

I have bought a new lens for me - a second hand tamron  150 - 600 and I am enjoying it.  It is quite heavy but a mono pod helps with this.
