This is my friend Chris' name for the wee brown birds who inhabit all our gardens. "Little Brown Jobs" sums them up.

On my early walk this morning, this wee chap landed on a neighbour's shed, and I know he's not a sparrow.

Any ideas, all you twitchers out there?

Gorgeous day here - I'm going out to the garden in a wee minute, to get started on the tidying up; the warmth of the sun makes this a real pleasure.
