Anthriscus sylvestis

aka Cow parsley and Queen Anne's Lace
I knew that the weather  today was going to be very wet so I picked a bunch of cow parsley yesterday afternoon, just in case I needed it. I did. There's plenty of it about at the moment and its important for bees and hoverflies so I'm always pleased to see it on verges and at the entrance to fields and woods. It's also handy as a mosquito repellent.
