Winter Purslane

Growing extensively at Gibraltar Point. We picked this yesterday. Google Lens tells me that it is rich in vitamin C and has been used widely in winter salad.

We also saw a Spoonbill from the hide at Tennyson Sands, a bird that is not common in UK.

Today I watched a Zoom presentation on the difference between PAGB and RPS awards. It was as I expected, but both bodies gave the very good advice not to rush from one award to the next higher.

Len made sandwiches and drove us to Huttoft Bank which we ate while watching the sea. Basil ran on the beach in the rain and was disappointed to have to get back in the car. We took him for a beach run this evening by which time it had stopped raining.

We finished the afternoon with Lincolnshire ice cream at Farmer Brown's.
