Timepiece by Tavannes

This timepiece is by Tavannes of Switzerland. The Tavannes Watch Company was founded in 1891 in the small Swiss village of Tavannes in the Jura Mountains.

It was presented to my paternal grandfather by his three children on his 70th birthday. It is inscribed DAD 1870 - 1940.

This probably reduces its value to a collector.
