Lily-of-the-Valley

I indulged in a visit to RHS Wisley today. I was initially dismayed by the queues to get into the garden as when I booked my early morning slot had masses of availablility. But it moved quickly and once in the gardens it didn't take long to walk away from the relatively busy main areas.

Walking round Battleston Hill I spotted these white bell-like flowers with a wonderful smell.  I spent the next hour trying to remember the name of the flower, which was a popular scent in my Nan's generation; it eventually came to me ... Lily-of-the-Valley, and a wonderful find for the Flower Friday challenge.
