Hentilagets

What a wonderful word! It's the Shetland word for the bits of wool which come off the sheep as they are grazing. They often end up caught on fences, especially barbed wire ones.

I saw plenty on our walk today. I could gather it all up and do some felting with it, or spin it and knit it, all manner of things, but I shall leave it and hope some passing bird will take bits to line their nest!
