Spring in the woodland

Knocknacree wood was the choice for our morning walk and the change since our last walk there was remarkable.  The floor was covered with green beech saplings and the trees are covered with the pale green leaves of beech in early spring.  Birdsong adds to the enjoyment of the woods.
