Interesting flower

We stopped to pick B's Aunt and she had this bush/tree with this interesting flower.  Not sure what it's the name - she told me - but it is native to our area according to Jackie.   Drive down to NC was pretty good with almost no traffic.  It was party central close to where we are staying and crowds like it is full summer.
