Sunshine East

...lit up at the last minute from the sunset, opposite. The only moment of sunshine all day.

It was a really nice Mother's Day, with French toast to start off with and a couple goofy, pun-filled cards. Went with W to our favorite garden center and came home with a white clematis. Worked in the garden for a couple hours this afternoon, planting the Very Late Potatoes and some other veggies. We Facetimed W's mom, Ellie, and had a nice catch-up with M and J too. I just saw myself in the mirror...no one had told me that I have streaks of garden soil across my forehead. Walked the hill at dusk and heard a barred owl CLOSE!
