Grey Heron

Monday morning walk around the reservoir in between rain showers which have been on and off all day.
A heron and three cormorants were on the shoreline and although I could not get very close, I was happy to be able to get a photo of the heron. It was a beautifully coloured bird and I love it’s wispy chest feathers, a very elegant bird.
