Watch Out!

My maternal grandfather was a gardener. He was killed while successfully felling a tree, sadly it felled him too - it crushed him. His pocket watch was stopped at twenty two minutes to twelve. As it lay in the midday sun the dial was yellowed, recording the time of the accident, it can be seen faintly upon the dial. My mother kept it which I thought a little strange, but when she handed it down to me I could not come to dispose of it either.

Any Hoo....It hadn't run in decades but a little restoration love and affection (and cotton buds, tiny paint brushes and sewing machine oil) it is now ticking away happily. I have no intention of felling any trees soon.
