I didna goof it up, after all

Looks good, smells good, won’t know if it tastes good; it’s a thank-you pie for my neighbor. She’ll say it tastes good even if it sucks, because she’s like that.

Honest critique is underrated when it comes to cooking. I learned my lesson a long time ago when I rated a friend’s cake highly when it was dry and tasteless, and now she makes it for me every time I visit.

But what are you going to say without hurting a delicate person’s feelings? Not me, just tell me it tastes awful, maybe specify the negative aspects and I promise the next one will be more delicious.
