Dickies

I worked most of today as it felt like there were lots of urgencies hanging. In between emails I snacked on these shortbreads that I was given as a present this week.

Trying to follow what’s going on in the world can lead to despondency. Glimmers of hope in some (and I stress only some) of the local election results with gains for the Green Party and some good mayoral wins for Labour. And then onto this story about Syrian refugees from Denmark, which defies logic and lacks any shred of compassion or fairness.
