Jane had not been happy with the state of the taxi when it turned up, but they were already late for an appointment so had gotten in anyway.  She was even more annoyed when it had broken down 5 minutes later and they had to help the driver push it to the nearest garage. To make matters worse it had started to snow and she was only wearing shorts!!
