Clouds Over Arran

When the skies cleared after lunch and the wind died down, the opportunity for a Mother's Day walk down to The Bay couldn't be resisted, even although I had been there earlier in the day for my run.

The white puffy clouds against the bright blue sky was a sight we have not seen for a while and just had to be captured. However, the clouds were not as innocent as they appeared and had already dropped a lot of snow on the Arran mountains. As we headed for home the clouds darkened and the wind started to pick up. Before we knew it we were in the middle of a mini blizzard, which didn't abate much until we were home.

Still, we made the most of the bright spell.
