Our Neighbours

We spent the greater part of the day working on the guest house, building (yet more) flat pack furniture -- a bed and a dresser, and organizing, de-winterizing, and cleaning.

As we were inserting part A into part C using screws #4 and washers #2, I heard the low throb of engines, and looking out the sliding glass doors into the cove, I saw this smart little lobster boat chug in and moor at the dock across from us.  He unloaded a bunch of lobster pots, and then took on a load of others and headed back out to sea.  I plan on making friends with him ... perhaps if I can bribe him with fresh-baked cookies, he'd be willing to leave a couple of fresh lobsters on our dock!

Heading back to Boston tomorrow afternoon for a few days of much-needed R&R.
