More Foxes!

Early morning found us back at South Park snapping photos of the same fox family.  We really had fun and enjoyed watching them go about their lives.  Late morning we headed up the the west side of the island, stopping at Lime Kiln Point State Park also known as the whale watch park.  Once again no Orcas, but we had a fabulous picnic lunch spot looking out over the Straight of Juan De Fuca at the Olympic Mountains.  The park also has a lighthouse that we visited.  After lunch we visited Rouche Harbor and drove back on the other side of island through beautiful farm land.  We took a break at the hotel and went back to find a different fox family late in the day.  This family was right on the edge of the water looking at the Olympic Mountains, such a beautiful setting.  The fox family we found was actually two silver/black females and each had three kits and both mates had been killed on the road so they joined together to raise the 6 kits.  Today photos are all from the this morning, it is just too late to try and look at the ones from tonight.  I will put a couple more in Extra Photos if you have time.
