Beady-eyed blue banded bee

These blue banded bees have a strange behaviour where they settle themselves on a leaf or similar (in this case a narcissus leaf) and just sit and meditate for a while.  I have no idea what it is all about.  This one sat patiently while I took his shot and while it is not the best, it does give you a front view which I find hard to catch.  Lets face it, these things are maniacs and most of my shots of them are blurs.

Half way through the week already, gee time is flying.
