Cook Strait ferry trip - it was wet and a tad up and down crossing this notorious stretch of water between the two main islands of NZ.

Only two of us were brave enough to venture to the top viewing deck. It was almost impossible to stand and a unexpected lone wave showered us with salty water.

The extra collage shows a selection of photos including Picton wharf, the Interislander, the weather and the heads as we left the Sounds and ventured into theCook Strait.

The internet was almost non existent on the ferry and with a further four hours of road travel this blip is very late being uploaded.

Thank you for the visits and stars for yesterday’s autumn colour.
