Unfurling

It wasn't meant to be this fern today, but - & I've been checking it daily recently - the fronds are now expanding rapidly so I need to grab the initial stages while I can.

It's a huge fern - this is just one of several sections coming from a central core - no idea what it is or where it came from, but it set itself up in the garden & seems to like it there - & it's welcome! I've Blipped it before, back in February, & will probably do so again..
