A Very Special Day

It wasn't easy to decide but  here I go .A chilly grey day so took the bus a few stops up the road to the coots. This ended up a four hour + visit . All is well and the frogs are a singing .The crows came and sat awhile for treats. Mandarin  ducks , starlings , and many more coots in 'up market housing with young .Then I met the swans .Quite a group of mortals had come to stand in awe and offer congratulations Seemingly the nine cygnets hatched on May 5th . All came on land  stayed awhile and after more photos went back to the waters and over to their huge nest .Yet another set of videos to be made ...
