Beach house

How about this for a bolt hole? It overlooks one of Jersey's prettiest bays (extra shows the view, taken later). Some friends are staying here for a brief 'staycation' and invited a few of us to join them for a very convivial evening of conversation and Indian food.

Teeming rain today, and very windy now - something is banging outside somewhere and I am glad to be cosy and warm, tucked up with my hot water bottle!
