Hump day

Visit to AJ this morning (in the pod). A little emotional to start with, haven't seen her for a couple of weeks and she’s been feeling a bit low. However, the care home had put a lovely posting on Facebook of her with her nurses badge to celebrate International Nurses Day today. This cheered her up. A lovely long chat and update on the family. Looking forward to the next level of restrictions being eased ...... hopefully a hug. :)

Picked Caleb up from school - both he and Austin have a bit of cough with a runny nose too (cold sounding), but he is ok. Coming out of school sometimes takes a while as he likes to say goodbye to his friends (or try and continue playing with them - school is fun, right!?). Back home and multiple snacks (he’s a growing boy). We did a puzzle together, a dinosaur one - he had done this on Saturday with mummy but happy to do again, pointing out all the different dinosaurs. He is cheeky at times, adorable always :x)
