Trim the Magnolia

When we planted this beautiful Magnolia about 30 years ago, we were told it was a miniature tree. We put it in a prominent part of our yard that could be viewed from our deck.


However, it was not a miniature.  Consequently, and unfortunately , I have to trim it every year now as it grows about 6-8 feet a year and if left, it would impede our view of the lake.


I wait till the blossoms are gone..then the trim job:-)
