Wednesday
Day two of our Fife coastal walk and doing the section from Kingsbarns to St. Andrews. A dull, damp start to the day, and lots of puddles from the overnight rain. It was quite a tiring walk with lots of steps to climb up and down. Also a bit of rock climbing on one of the beaches. The scenery was wonderful though (extras) and we saw a deer running on the cliffs, lots of cormorants, eider ducks and a couple of herons. It was busy in St. Andrews, but then it was lunchtime by time we arrived. Caught the bus back to Kingsbarns, then took a drive to Crail (extras) in the afternoon, by which time the sun had appeared. Another excellent meal at the Inn at Kingsbarns in the evening.
