Pretty pest

This weed is making itself known along our rows of coffee. I’ve always thought it was Patterson’s Curse, or Salvation Jane, (same plant, different common name, )but Wikipedia seems to think differently. Any ideas BanksiaMan? I’d also be interested if blippers from other countries have these purple weeds.
