Mechanical advantage

I'm a big fan a cheat cards. Figure even if you really know it, some stuff only gets used when it's all going a bit wrong. 
Mech adv systems is one of those things. 2:1, 3:1, pig rig, z drag, 9:1! all kinds of names.
I'm into keeping it simple with minimum kit - I'm not carrying a climbing rack!
