2nd Dose

Today is a holiday in Germany - Ascension Day (it's also Father's Day) but I was up early to get to the vaccination centre.  The buses are few and far between on holidays so I had to be super early.

I got to the centre a few minutes early.  There was no queue outside and because I was there for my second jag, there wasn't nearly as much bureaucracy as the first time.  I was scanned in, had my temperature checked, and then I was in the queue for my injection.  Filled in the not-bothered-that-it's-Astra-Zeneca form, got jagged and then I was outside in the sunshine.

In 2 weeks I'll be able to do things.  No idea what those things are, but I like the feeling that for 6 months or so I don't have to worry.

And my mobile phone works so much better with 5G.
