Eid Mubarak!

Eid Mubarak!
I handed over my chocolate cake to my Malaysian neighbours this morning who then outdid and outclassed me by giving me a spicy meat taster meal and some beautifully crafted biscuits.

I managed a photograph of the family having a picnic with friends in the gardens. The mum and her daughters in light dresses must have been frozen as it was cloudy and feeling like 5°.

What on earth is happening to May? I was out and about early this morning in a wet clinging haar but even when this lifted after 9am it was so cold and damp.

I have just had a Zoom meeting and have put on the heating with a view to staying warm inside this afternoon. I am reading a book which has me laughing outloud- Heartburn by Nora Ephron
