THOMAS LORD
Formerly the New Inn this pub in West Meon, Hampshire was renamed in honour of Thomas Lord, of Lord's Cricket Ground and the MCC. He retired to West Meon in 1830 and died there in 1832. He is buried in the churchyard of St.John's Church, West Meon.
