Cold and Frosty Morn

That is a fiddle tune that I love. It is also what the morning was like at 5 am.
Our little ecosystem here can get about 10 degrees colder than what the forecast says. They predicted 41 F last night and we figured it would be about 31 F this morning. It was clear with little wind and was 30 F when I got up. Everything seemed to survive.
I took my camera out while I was feeding critters this morning and snapped some frost rime on the wild carrots.
