14 for 14

Trying to get everything sorted before the weekend. I did go on a garden safari this afternoon. This is the same bush as earlier in the week and it is becoming a bit crowded. I've been hoping to see shield bug eggs but my chances are slim with the amount of leaves. I did spend a bit of time watching more shield bug intimacy! I saw two red ladybirds and then this one, which was about a third of the size of the red ones. It is a 14 spot ladybird taken on the 14th.

Yes, it's another macro as I experiment with the new lens. It's opened up more opportunities. I'll be switching lens next week to go wide.
