A rose for Friday

But my extra is really what I want to write about!

Last evening,  for the first time in over a year,  the band got to perform for the public.

It was a perfect day for an outdoor concert,  the seniors were all honored, but the highlight of the evening was the presentation of the John Philip Sousa Award to Brody.

The other highlight was Brody's alto sax solo....a simply exquisite example of his talent!
